Lime, Mint & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup
Refresh and soothe with this simple Lime, Mint & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup from Australian Bush Spices. Combining the natural goodness of Manuka Honey, fresh lime juice and aromatic mint, this easy homemade syrup is a delicious way to support your daily wellness routine. Enjoy it by the spoonful or stirred through warm water for a comforting herbal drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Manuka Honey MGO 83+
- ¼ cup water
- 4 fresh limes (approximately ¼ cup freshly squeezed juice)
- 2–4 sprigs fresh mint
- Extra mint leaves for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the limes and mint thoroughly.
- Juice the limes and set aside ¼ cup of fresh lime juice.
- Place the water and one or two mint sprigs into a small saucepan. Bring gently to the boil, then remove immediately from the heat.
- Allow the mint to infuse for 2–3 minutes before removing the leaves.
- Add the fresh lime juice and Manuka Honey to the warm mint-infused water. Stir until fully combined.
- Pour into a clean, sterilised glass jar or bottle and allow to cool.
- Serve as needed or mix a spoonful into warm water for a soothing wellness drink.
