Lemon & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup
Soothe your throat naturally with this simple Lemon & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup. Combining fresh lemon with premium Australian Bush Spices Manuka Honey, this easy homemade remedy delivers a delicious balance of citrus freshness and natural sweetness. Ingredients
- ½ cup Manuka Honey MGO 83+
- 1 fresh lemon, thinly sliced
- Small handful of fresh thyme sprigs (optional)
Instructions
- Place the lemon slices and thyme sprigs into a clean glass jar, layering them evenly.
- Pour the Manuka honey over the ingredients until completely covered.
- Use a clean spoon or butter knife to gently remove any trapped air bubbles.
- Seal the jar and place it in the refrigerator.
- Over the next few days, the lemon will naturally release its juices into the honey, creating a smooth syrup consistency.
- Shake gently before use and enjoy 1 teaspoon as required.
- For a soothing warm drink, stir a spoonful into warm water and enjoy as a fragrant herbal tea.
