Berry & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup

Soothe the senses with this naturally sweet Berry & Manuka Honey Wellness Syrup. Made with juicy berries, fresh mint and premium Australian Manuka honey, this simple recipe is a delicious addition to your family’s pantry. At Australian Bush Spices, we recommend using our high-quality Manuka Honey for a naturally rich flavour and smooth finish.

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed fresh or frozen berries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1–2 fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup Manuka Honey MGO 83+

Instructions

  1. Place the berries, water and mint leaves into a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the berries soften and release their juices.
  4. Remove from the heat and strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl or jug.
  5. Allow the liquid to cool slightly before stirring through the Manuka Honey MGO 83+ until fully dissolved.
  6. Pour into a sterilised glass jar or bottle and seal tightly.
